About Research Rochester

Research Rochester events allow prospective students to find out what it’s really like to study at the University of Rochester. This fall, both virtual and on campus programs will be offered.

Research Rochester Days

These open houses for prospective students are your ideal opportunity to get an inside look at the University of Rochester.

  • Learn about the admissions process. Get an overview of our application process and financial aid and merit opportunities, with plenty of time for Q&A.
  • Experience Rochester. Discover the curriculum, research opportunities, and what makes Rochester unique.
  • Interact with our students. Current students will show you key landmarks on the River Campus while sharing personal anecdotes and answering questions along the way.

What to expect

Our virtual open houses provide you with a more in-depth learning opportunity. The sessions on each day are hosted on a continuous Zoom webinar, with breaks between each session and the ability to “come and go” depending on your interest(s).

Our on campus open houses give you a chance to experience a student-led tour of campus, sessions on the financial aid process, student panels, and the opportunity to get all your questions answered by current Rochester students as well as admissions and financial aid counselors.
