Taking a Pre-College course at Rochester is one of the best things you can do to prepare yourself for college. It helped me understand where my career was meant to go and the person I was becoming. At Pre-College, you get a sense of independence and mini-adulting, and you learn what’s needed to be ready for your first year of college.
Financial aid and scholarships
Financial Aid is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis to families with demonstrated financial need. Pre-College Programs operate independently of the University’s Financial Aid Office. We do not guarantee that all eligible applicants will receive aid.
Rochester Scholars Scholarship
The School of Arts & Sciences Dean’s Office provides scholarships for students who attend the Rochester City School District. Contact our office to learn more about eligibility.
Pre-college summer courses give you a sneak peek at campus life
Since the summer courses began in 1990, URochester has welcomed thousands of high school students to campus—from Los Angeles to New York, but also Bangladesh to Brazil, Morocco to South Korea, and Venezuela to Vietnam.
It’s a chance to preview your future—and discover your path.
