This is an invite-only program.

The interview is a mandatory part of the selection process. Unfortunately, there are no alternative days for the interviews.

Registration will open soon.

If you have questions, please contact Andre McKenzie at (585) 275-8629 or andre.mckenzie@rochester.edu. Your prompt reply is important.

All students participating in the REMS Interview Program must complete the Overnight Program Permissions Form. Please email completed forms to andre.mckenzie@rochester.edu.

What to expect

You will have the opportunity to hear from students, faculty, and staff from the Office of Admissions and the School of Medicine and Dentistry throughout the event. The goal of these activities is to provide you with a deeper understanding of the REMS Program and provide a space to ask questions. The activities on Thursday, February 12, will take place from 4:00-7:30 p.m. ET.

On Friday, February 13, you will also interview with representatives from the River Campus and the School of Medicine and Dentistry.

As our guest, your meals and on-campus lodging are included at no charge during your visit. You will be hosted overnight by a current URochester student. Please feel free to bring a pillow and towel. We recommend that you bring additional spending money for snacks, souvenirs, etc. Also, please bring appropriate dress clothes for your interviews on Friday, as well as outdoor attire for a campus tour.

Family members are welcome to attend the program but are not required to attend. Family members attending will need to secure their own accommodations off-campus.

A list of Rochester area hotels is available. If you specify that you’re visiting the University of Rochester, some hotels will offer special rates.
