Jervon Cole (he/him)
Major: Biochemistry

I’m a Resident Advisor (RA) in Susan B. Anthony Hall (First-Year Housing) and a member of Dr. Dragony Fu’s lab, where I work on biochemical research exploring pathologies associated with RNA modifications. I’ve led workshops for Biology 110 and Chemistry 132, will be leading Organic Chemistry I (CHEM 203) in the fall, and have also worked at the Career Center supporting students with professional development. I’m also on the executive board of STEM Initiative, where we bring hands-on science demos to local schools weekly — if you have any questions about residential life, research, classes, or getting involved on campus, I’d love to chat!

I’m originally from Shanghai, China, and spent three years of my childhood in Toronto, Canada. I love traveling and experiencing different cultures. Around Rochester, I enjoy blowing glass at Corning and snowboarding. At school, I enjoy helping my peers learn and grow. I also make an impact in the local community through an internship with the city of Rochester.

Hello everyone! I’ve been involved on campus in organizations like Student Government, Student Alumni Ambassadors, Mock Trial, UNICEF, and more. I’ve also worked in various capacities at places like the School of Nursing, the School of Medicine & Dentistry, the Career Center, the Language Center, and the Office of University Engagement. Feel free to hit me up!

Hi! I’m from Tampa, Florida, and I love creating spaces where people can connect, whether that’s through student leadership, campus events, or community projects in Rochester. I’ve helped run cultural celebrations and service initiatives, and I currently serve as Vice President of Student Government and President of the Douglass Leadership House (DLH). I’m always happy to share ways for students to get involved. Outside of school, I enjoy working out and reading comic books. If you’d like to make new connections or explore Rochester, feel free to email me – I’d be happy to connect!
Zoe Stanley (she/her)

Outside of classes, I am on the executive board for the UR Running Club, an active member of the Red Cross club, and I do research in the Welte Lab in the Department of Biology. I also work as a tour guide for admissions, and I am a member of the Emergency Department Research Associates Program as well as working with the URochester branch of SIREN, a national emergency medicine research network. In the past, I’ve worked for the chemistry department as a workshop leader and in customer service off campus.
Alex Wilks (he/him)

Hi! I’m from Fairfax, Virginia, just a quick ride from Washington, D.C., and I’m proud to be the seventh member of my family to attend the University of Rochester (you could say it runs in the family!). As a Student Admissions Associate, I love connecting with prospective students and sharing my Rochester experience, which includes roles as a Marketing TA, tour guide with the Meridian Society, and Club Operations Coordinator at the Simon Business School. I’ve also served in student government, worked as an EcoRep, and stay active in both Hillel and Chabad. Outside of Rochester, I recently interned in External Affairs at Comcast NBCUniversal and currently work as a Marketing Intern at Fizz Social.
