Handler Interviewing Event - Undergraduate Admissions

Congratulations! The University of Rochester is pleased to invite you to the Handler Scholarship Finalist virtual interviewing event. You are among a small group of students selected out of hundreds of highly qualified applicants. There are two components to the finalist interview – a virtual group program on Wednesday, February 26, followed by an individual virtual interview on Friday, March 7.

This is an invitation-only program and requires participation in order to be considered for the Handler Scholarship and our other high-value awards.

What to expect

You will receive the opportunity to hear from current Handler Scholars, faculty, and staff that support and advise Handler Scholars, and the Office of Admissions. The goal is to provide you with a deeper understanding of what it means to be a Handler Scholar, all of the benefits that come along with this generous scholarship offer, the University of Rochester student experience, and provide a space to ask questions. The program on Wednesday, February 26, will take place from 4:30 – 7:00 p.m. ET followed by an optional opportunity to further chat with current Handler Scholars from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. ET.

You be assigned a 30-minute time slot for Friday, March 7, for an individual interview with representatives from Admissions and the School of Arts, Sciences & Engineering.

You will receive your assigned interview time and Zoom link via email by March 1.
