The University of Rochester makes student application information accessible via Slate.org for counselors and advisors working at schools and community-based organizations. Slate.org is a free tool that allows you to view students’ application checklists and submit admissions materials. Join us during western New York’s spectacular fall season as we guide you through the region to visit some of the state’s finest colleges and universities. The tour includes stops at SUNY Geneseo, Rochester Institute of Technology, St. John Fisher University, and the University of Rochester.
Come to Rochester, New York, in the spring to visit several upstate New York colleges and universities including Union College, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Syracuse University, Ithaca College, Rochester Institute of Technology, and the University of Rochester.
Come to Rochester, New York, during the summer to visit several upstate New York colleges and universities including Syracuse University, Ithaca College, Rochester Institute of Technology, Colgate University, Hamilton College, Union College, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Skidmore College, and the University of Rochester.
Counselors and advisors can attend an upcoming prospective student visit, or request* a custom visit for a group of students or counselors.
*A minimum of three weeks notice is required in order to best meet the requests of visiting counselors.
Counselors and advisors can register for upcoming campus tours and information sessions.
Group visits are available for high schools and community-based organizations to bring a larger group of students (15+) to the University of Rochester for a student-led campus tour. Group visits are available on most Mondays-Fridays.
Groups of school, community-based organization, or independent counselors are welcome to request separate campus visits to the River Campus of the University of Rochester.
Each year, counselors from high schools across the country and the world may nominate up to four qualified students, one for each of these awards. All nominees have their application fee waived and are eligible to be considered for merit scholarships at the University of Rochester worth at least $5,000 per year.
