The Best Food You Will Have Ever Tasted In Your Life

I’m talking about the food on campus. I know it’s not your mom’s stews, your dad’s stir-frys, or your grandma’s pastries. Compared to those, campus food is like eating a piece of cardboard, or dirt. There are certain foods that my friends will eat with hesitation throughout the whole meal.  I still don’t know why they eat it even though they don’t like it. Well, I take that back. I guess it’s just like students with Keystone.

Anyways, you ask how’s the food? For the first month (or less) you think it’s pretty pretty tolerable. After that, you’ll complain, students complain, and even I complain about it. But that hasn’t stopped more than a thousand students from moving onto their next year, more than a thousand students from graduating a year and it hasn’t killed anybody either. Besides, we have a Corner Store that supplies most of the groceries you need, if not, you can conveniently take the bus to Wegmans or some other place. We also have a Common Market where you can get all the candy you want.

The foods I personally think aren’t so bad (I’m biased towards meat by the way):

Paninis and Italian Sodas at Hillside

The meats and Mongolian grills at Danforth

Pasta and Mac and Cheese at Douglass

Burgers and Grilled Chicken at the Commons

The subs at Blimpies

Frappuccinos at Starbucks

The pasta and the Mel Burger at The Mel

But, I mean, didn’t you say you were going eat all ice cream, candy, and Starbucks you can get at college? You ARE free from clutch. Otherwise, deal with it.

My point: Anywhere you go, you will be tired of the food. So don’t make food the determining factor in your college search.
