Multicultural Visitation Program, otherwise known as MVP, is an annual recruitment event that draws prospective multicultural students to the University of Rochester from all over the country. The event is usually held in November, and is for high school seniors. MVP is an opportunity for the University to showcase its diversity of students, programming, academic and co curricular offerings, and an opportunity for diverse prospective students to showcase themselves as they attempt to learn more about us.
This year approximately 61 students attend MVP. The pictures speak to the program and the events that take place during the students’ time on campus. MVP has been in existence at the University for many years, and while it was a program for admitted students, two years ago it was moved to the fall in an effort to stay connected with prospective students for a longer period of time.
