Meet Lauren Bradley, Advisor to the Student Alumni Ambassadors!

Today, I want to highlight one of my favorite advisors, Lauren Bradley, advisor to the Student Alumni Ambassadors, otherwise known as the SAAs. Lauren works for the Office of Advancement and Alumni Relations and she plays a key role in helping student organizations at the University connect with their own alumni. This helps students meet graduates of our school who were formerly members of some of the exact organizations students are a part of today!

I have a strong passion for networking and Lauren helped me develop a guide I could use to help my fellow SAAs learn how to network better. It was a fun experience and I learned a lot from the process. 

Lauren also leads the SAAs during Meliora Weekend. As SAAs, we often get to attend "high profile" events, which is cool because oftentimes, we actually get to meet the people after whom many of our campus buildings are named. For example, at the George Eastman Circle Dinner this past Meliora Weekend, I got to meet Ronald Rettner, the man who helped put together our brand new Retter Hall, home to Digital Media Studies. 

The SAAs are a select group of students on campus that help students connect to those who passed through our campus classrooms before us. And without Lauren, none of what we strive to do would be possible. Thank you, Lauren!
