Making High School Meaningful: Part Five

Some of you know what you’re going to be when you grow up, and some of you have no idea. Some of you who think you know will change your mind. Most of my friends in college changed their minds, as have many current college students I know. College is a time of academic, personal, and career exploration. You’re going to take classes in subjects that you’ve never taken before, and you’ll be inspired by faculty members in lectures or by studying abroad, and your friends in college will get you excited about what they are studying. So it’s okay to be unsure of your career trajectory at first. You have up to two years to declare your major in college. Take your time understanding what you want to be when you grow up.
