Everything is Getting Harder. . . .

Seeing friends after the break is always good...After fun times and spending time away from school, I thought coming back would be exciting. Not really! It was really good to be in Rochester again and starting the spring semester, but I didn't think that I would be thinking about spring break this fast. I didn't even give myself a month before thinking about it. SPRING BREAK, PLEASE COME FAST. It's good to see friends, though. It wasn't like just a couple of weeks; the break felt so long, which is good.

Last semester, I said that it would go really fast, and it kinda did. This semester seems much harder, with all the next-level courses that follow last semester's courses; everything is a bit harder and the classes are much more intense, and the professors are so scary, except one. :p Time wise, I think this semester will go fast, too—I sure hope so! I woke up today and I couldn't believe that it is Wednesday already!

I haven't been around and I haven't been writing anything lately because I was away during the break. Fun times! I left Rochester when there was no snow, and I was hoping that I would see some when I came back; there was some, but not that much. I have been told that Rochester is one of the coldest places in the US and there will be a lot of snow—and I love snow; that's why I came in the first place to this University, because of the snow! Now, I will have to leave! :p I am just kidding about the coming and leaving because of the snow. I love you, U of R.

Back to the real STUFF, OK so I think I kind of messed my schedule up. I have classes and I wrote that I have them in my planner day by day. Before each class, I check Blackboard to see where it will take place, especially for the first class, and what I see is that I am not in the section that I registered in, and I am registered for a totally different section. I am not even sure whose fault that is, but I think I might have messed it up a little bit. I am getting it straightened up a little, and all the departments are really helpful in that matter. I found out that I have both my chem and bio lab at the same time, so I went and I attended the class that I wanted, and then I went to the person who's responsible in the bio department, Ms. Baylark. She is such a sweet person; she didn't hesitate helping me for a second. I love having such great people around in this University. I will have to do the same thing with bio recitation too; I just found out that I am registered for the wrong section. 🙁 It's OK, though; let's be optimistic, and I hope it will work out.

I talked a lot; it is nice to catch up. . . . Wish me luck!

Peace,
Sarah AK Ahmed
