About Me

Hey, all!

I'm Nick Benjamin, and I'll be occupying this little bit of Internet for a while. I'm currently studying mathematics and economics at the University of Rochester, am gainfully employed with Event Support and Orientation this summer, and am social chair for Phi Kappa Tau.

In my free time, I love listening to music, socializing, snowboarding, watching hockey or baseball (Sabres and Red Sox!), and generally having a great time! I also DJ when I get the chance. I'm big into EDM now, but I love pretty much anything with a good beat, including classic rock, which holds a special place in my heart.

I love the University of Rochester. In the short two years I've been here, it has become home to me. I can't imagine what my life would have been if I did not choose to attend this school. It isn't even that it has such a uniquely flexible curriculum, is one of (if not the) best universities in New York, is a major research university, or has a beautiful university campus (even though it is all of the above). It is more than that. It is everything. This school has allowed me to grow beyond what I ever expected of myself. I came here a different person. U of R opened my mind to so many new experiences, ideas, and opportunities. I wouldn't change one bit.
