I'm Kristen, and I'm a senior! I transferred to Rochester as a sophomore, and I absolutely love it here! I'm a psychology major and a Spanish minor, and I completed a computer science cluster. I love keeping busy and trying new things; I'm very involved with the Inter-Class Living Community and the women's club squash team and have been part of countless other clubs over the past three years—there are so many good options, it's hard to choose!
I've lived in like a million places, so the transfer thing is nothing new to me. Everyone in my family was born in a different state (I was Pennsylvania!), and we've moved (I think . . .) eight times. I've lived everywhere from London, England, to Atlanta, Georgia, but my family currently lives in Horseheads, New York (yes, that is the real name). Last semester I studied abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina and loved everything about it. I hope to go back abroad after I graduate!
My friends will probably tell you that I'm a really goony person. I keep Play-Doh and coloring books in my dorm room, my socks never match, and I have absolutely no sense of direction (I still get lost in the tunnels all the time!). I hate cold weather, but Christmas and the red cups at Starbucks make winter worth it. Most importantly, I love the University of Rochester!!
