Happy March Madness, everyone! ‘Tis the season for elaborate brackets, tall sweaty men squeaking around a court, and friends and foes hanging their heads in shame and misery when their favorite team misses that crucial shot. More excitingly, though (in our book at least!), is the launch of a brand new resource for Rochester students . . . Financial Avenue! Even when your bracket goes bust, Financial Avenue is sure to be a slam dunk!
What is Financial Avenue?
Financial Avenue is a great resource available right at your fingertips! It contains articles, quizzes, educational modules, and more to help you learn and improve your money management skills. It’s a new service provided to all University of Rochester students—undergrad or grad, doesn't matter!
How do I log in?
To log in, simply use your email address (it doesn't have to be your University of Rochester email address), and access code 967FBF. From there, you can set up your profile and get started!

What can you do in Financial Avenue?
When you first log in to Financial Avenue, this is the view you will see:
There are tons of awesome courses and mini-modules you can try out! From budgeting to credit cards, from debt to your first job, Financial Avenue has fantastic information to guide you every step of the way. There are brief video segments, calculators, and quizzes, too! You can even customize the resources and information so it is tailored to you and your needs.
Why should I use it?
Financial Avenue can help you put your finances on the right path! Even if you’re not thinking about it right now, money is important. Whether you’re a freshman in college or an MBA student at Simon, you have to know how to be smart with your money—it’s a crucial life skill! Financial Avenue is a fun, engaging, and informative way for you to learn more about managing your money, and to work toward becoming a fully financially literate individual.
